2.  Read the Actualité article (about returning to school in Quebec) 
3.  Use the information from what you heard and what you read to write a prediction about what back to school is going to look like for us in September.

Week of June 1st to 5th

Your story planning should be underway, via video or graphic organizers. The process needs to be captured in your portfolio or the assignment folder so I can provide feedback. 2 pieces of planning (written or video) should be uploaded before the June 10 due date of the final piece of writing. Don't forget to cite your sources if doing research on www.easybib.com

1-Do the survey chap 8-sondage and keep your answers ready for a discussion during Monday meeting.  Formative assessment.

2-Look at the vocab words chapter 8. Pick 3, and fill up the  Carrés vocabulaire and hand-it in the assignment box Carrés de vocabulaire. Summative assessment.

3-Complete the Survol worksheet Chap 8 - survol.doc. It is not to hand-in, but rather to understand the content of chapter 8 and be ready for a discussion next week. It is highly recommended that you do it. Formative assessment.

Start planning your writing this week. We will meet to discuss the progress at our GoogleMeet. You should have a plan for the character, plot and setting before that meeting happens. Please upload any planning you have done in writing or in a video to the ASSIGNMENT folder on D2L before Wednesday so that I can offer feedback for you.

FLA:
Google meets are always on Tuesdays at 1:30.  The link will be posted on D2L prior to the meeting.  This week, we will go over the expectations for the week, answer any questions and review the subjunctive verb tense.  This week we will do one last reading comprehension practice PAT (find on D2L under content and quizzes).  You will then review the subjunctive tense using your notes and complete the practice exercises provided on D2L.  Next week, there will be a review quiz on all 5 verb tenses covered this year:  passé composé, imparfait, conditionnel, futur simple and subjonctif.

Week of May 11-15th

ES 9-Beaudoin
-Google meet Monday 10h00 ES9BEAUDOIN, we will go over what needs to be done and watch a short video on discuss the content. There will be a scavenger hunt activity. Be ready to move!


-Go under D2LContent, and complete the following Tâche du chapitre 7.docx .  I would like you to show your project during the Thursday meeting at 09h00 or to make a short video and to put it in the assignment box. Either way, I need a short explanation about it and how it relates to chapter 7. If we have time, we will play Kahoot again using the key words learned so far about consumerism!  Be there awake!

FLA:
Over the course of the next 3 weeks, I will be giving you a few texts with multiple choice questions from previous PAT reading comprehension tests to read and respond to. Access the texts under content in D2L, and complete the questions found under the tab 'quizzes'. This week, we will also be reviewing the conditional tense.  Review your notes and access a link to practice exercises in D2L.  Reminder:  There will be a quiz on all 5 verb tenses that we covered this year in early June.

For anyone who is looking for more, I will be posting a document under content for supplementary reading, listening and grammar review options!
